This post works within the Parliamentary Maintenance Service Team, Engineers Control team who provide shift cover and reactive attendance to building services faults and breakdowns across the Parliamentary Estate 24/7 365 days per year. 

Acting as the focal point for the receipt of all incoming enquiries, repair and minor works requests and entering onto the works management system.  Distributing calls to the appropriate technicians and providing feedback of information to the system on job status changes and closure.  General administrative duties within PMST to provide a co-ordinated and seamless service and offering administrative support to the Reactive Team.

The successful candidate will have the demonstrable experience of working in a helpdesk or a similar highly computerised environment.  Must be able to communicate well with people on the telephone and obtain accurate information about their requests.  Works effectively providing excellent customer service to both internal and external contacts, possessing a professional and helpful telephone manner
