The Role

This is a new role, established to create and deliver the first ever workforce strategy for the Chamber and Committee Services Team, covering well over 300 posts and staff costs of over £15 million per annum, in a context of significant changes in staffing patterns and ongoing challenges.

The postholder will line manage a B2 Programme Delivery Officer and together they will be accountable to the CCT Management Board for agreement of the plan and a set of associated objectives.

 

The Person

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:


 

  • Potential to create and implement a credible and authoritative workforce plan for, and improve forecasting and management of staff costs across, a set of multiple, diverse and complex teams; potential to line manage the programme delivery B2 postholder effectively, drawing in other resources as required.
  • Provide authoritative advice on how recruitment and selection processes can best contribute to effective budgetary management, improve diversity and inclusion and address skills gaps within CCT in the wider context of CCT’s learning and development strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects from conception through to implementation, including tender processes, and to be accountable to the CCT Board for delivering tangible outcomes against multiple business plan objectives.
