The Role
The House of Commons Recruitment team are responsible for managing all House of Commons recruitment campaigns, and other resourcing methods such as agency recruitment and inwards secondments.
Recruitment Advisers take responsibility for individual recruitment campaigns, advising recruiting managers on recruitment processes, advertising and job descriptions. They manage all stages of the campaign using the e-recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and work closely with various external recruitment advertising suppliers. Recruitment Advisers also takes individual responsibility for some areas of the service (e.g. agency or graduate recruitment) and project work.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Ability to recruit successfully for a range of posts at the same time, either in-house or for a recruitment agency and in line with the principles of equality and diversity.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, including taking the initiative to resolve issues and influencing decision-makers
- Experience of using an e-recruitment applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage campaigns
