Purpose of the Job

To provide administrative support to the Covid-19 planning group. The group is currently meeting twice a week (please note this frequency may change if the pace of activity requires).

Duties include the taking of minutes and updating an action table, setting up future meetings and distributing the minutes and actions to a set group. Also the chasing of actions between meetings to ensure the action table is up to date and completed actions are marked accordingly.

There is the possibility of being asked to support subgroups of the planning group for the same tasks on an occasional basis.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from any Team or Department at substantive C or above who have been recruited directly by the House of Commons through fair and open competition and have been in post for at least 9 months. Please confirm in your supporting statement/letter that you have passed a recruitment board at band C or above.

You should also confirm that your line manager is content with your application before proceeding.

This post will be in addition to your normal duties. Some flexibility on meeting dates and frequency may be required to respond to the requirements of the group in what is a complex and dynamic ongoing situation.
