The Role
To provide business support to the BMD and wider In-House Services Team in delivering the People Plan by providing strong administrative skills. This will include managing various administrative processes in relation to compliance, Freedom of Information Requests, Parliamentary Questions and information security. The post holder will also provide general administrative support for the BMD, particularly liaising with the Corporate Services teams in
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of colleagues at all levels and influence a range of stakeholders. The ability to work under pressure and autonomously prioritising work to meet deadlines. Flexible in responding to changing requirements and circumstances. Willing to challenge and persuade where appropriate.
- Able to understand and ensure compliance with House policies and procedures, particularly Information Security, Records Management, Freedom of Information, Risk Management
- Strong administrative/office manager skills, with the ability to work in a business support function and experience of supporting a range of individuals or teams with varying business needs.
