The Role
The Admission Order Office is a busy booking office for the Commons gallery, Commons Broadcasting points and Late-Night Transport.
The service provides advice and information to Members, their staff, House staff and external parties, requiring excellent levels of customer service and an ability to provide clear and accurate advice in a fast-moving environment. Enquiries can come in via email, phone or in face-to-face conversations with our customers. The office is a busy, Member-facing operation that operates alongside the sitting hours of the House.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
A can-do customer focused approach, with proven experience of exercising tact and diplomacy when dealing with a diverse range of customers with varying needs, ensuring inclusivity and impartiality at all times.
Highly effective and accurate organisational skills with the ability to identify and adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to tight deadlines, planning and prioritising where necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to write informative, clear guidance to a diverse audience.
