The Northern Estate Programme is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to come and join us on an initial interim 6 months basis or on secondment.

You will be responsible for defining and developing supply chain management objectives and putting strategies in place to deliver the identified benefits.  This is a strategic role, with the delivery of benefits being delegated to programme consultants and contractors. You will also be responsible for further developing these strategic objectives in consultation with stakeholders.  You will be engaging with all main works contracting partners to achieve a common Supply Chain approach ensuring best in class activities are mirrored across the programme.

This is a key role within the programme team and will interact with colleagues in many parts of UK Parliament who are engaged in different programme workstreams with particular interaction with the Parliamentary Procurement and Commercial Service (PPCS).

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate and evidence successful delivery of Supply Chain Management Plan organisational structures, preferably in a construction-based environment. As well as Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, you will also have relevant Procurement Management experience gained through delivering a major capital construction programme or projects of similar complexity. You will have excellent and proven knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and experience of dealing with multiple and challenging stakeholder groups.
