An exciting role for a Security Vetting and Pass Administrator has just become available at the heart of the City of London.

If you enjoy performing administrative tasks, entering data into the computer system accurately and in a timely manner, interacting with diverse range of stakeholders and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

As a Security Vetting and Pass Administrator you will be mainly working with the other team members to process security applications and issue physical security passes. The Pass Office is a part of the wider Personnel Security Team, which has been established within the Parliamentary Security Department to mitigate the risk of workers exploiting their legitimate access to The Palace of Westminster for unauthorised purposes. This is therefore an exciting and a busy role.

To be successful in this role, you would:

• Take responsibility for completing administrative tasks to a high standard by organising own workload and prioritising accordingly.

• Have the ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy administrative environment using IT systems.

• Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a confident manner to be able to think quickly, react appropriately with all stakeholders in a potentially challenging environment, while keeping principles of equality and diversity in mind.

• Work effectively within a team with a “can-do” attitude and with the flexibility to switch tasks to achieve team goals.

• Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both orally and in writing.

Please do review the full job description before applying. Please also note, this role will be based on the Parliamentary Estate, Westminster, London.

What we offer:

Annual leave starting at 30 days pro rata
