The In-House Services & Estates Portfolio Management Office (IHSE PMO) is a trusted and collaborative partner, leading best practice in the management of the portfolio, supporting investment prioritisation and delivery. We provide an integrated approach, manage interdependencies and provide planning, analysis, quality assurance and reporting. We work in close harmony with the corporate Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). The team is central to the success of the portfolio.


The Role


The SharePoint Developer will: 

  • Develop and maintain IHSE SharePoint sites, including IHSE Portfolio Management Office site that underpins IHSE portfolio management, and IHSE Project Delivery Handbook site. 
  • Support and lead key aspects of improving information & data flows, formats, templates, tools and tool interfaces to meet the evolving needs of stakeholders, whilst improving or maintaining the efficacy of definition and delivery teams. Includes identifying and implementing automated flows that improve processes and outputs.   
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining other PMO applications if and as required. 
  • Ensure approaches and outputs that value and nurture everyone, empower and drive improved: shared learning; culture (organisational energy) and; investment outcomes. Support and underpin management by exception, within an improving portfolio management system. 

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Successfully uses SharePoint and other essential qualifications and knowledge in a variety of portfolio, programme and project situations
  • Successfully transfers existing business processes into SharePoint, from initial analysis through to go-live.
  • Sets and delivers exacting standards for the SharePoint services delivered to customers, incorporating key policies and business priorities including documents management and information security.

  • Advanced Level Microsoft SharePoint Developer
  • Advanced Office 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Advanced Level Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Power Apps
