The Role

The post holder will be passionate about food, beverages, customer service and must be able to work as part of a team. The role will include preparing excellent Barista styles coffee, making sure food items are displayed and replenish regularly and correctly labelled.  Cash handling for which a great deal of accuracy is required and will include some administrative duties. 

Please note you will need to guarantee a minimum of 20 hours where you will be able to work. Your weekly 20 hours shift/s will be allocated within this period. There will also be the opportunity to work additional hours.

 

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Relevant cafeteria / barista experience in a similar position, working in a high volume, high quality establishment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral, able to build effective relationships with, and relate to people at all levels and with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, prioritising own work load to deliver a high quality of service
