Background

The Official Report (Hansard) is the substantially verbatim report of proceedings in the House of Lords Chamber and Grand Committees. The Official Report is also responsible for the production of Select Committee transcripts.

The Role

To report proceedings of the House of Lords, including the Chamber, Grand Committee and Select Committees in line with our terms of reference.

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

● Communication skills: Excellent English-language skills and clear and accurate written skills, including consistent record keeping and reporting

● Reporting skills: Ability to comprehend and report complex arguments in their political context.

● Delivering at pace: Ability to work quickly and dependably under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
